I made this cake for Jonathan's birthday today. It was really fun. I wanted a cake that didn't look like a cake. It is a yellow 8 in round cake for the bun, covered in chocolate frosting and then fondant. The hamburger patty is a brownie mix baked in an 8 in round pan. All the fixings are made of fondant. The ketchup in the dish is frosting(store bought) and the fries are just pieces of cake cut with my crinckle cut pastry cutter. Don't let the picture fool you, it's not very small
I have to say, it is my favorite so far
I decided to post an after picture to show you some perspective on the size. That's a regular sized knife sitting next to it.

Really good job, yummy too!
I can't believe how talented you are at your cakes. I've enjoyed seeing the pictures of all the cakes you've done. Maybe for my kids bdays I can pay you do their cakes. The hamburger on in by far my favorite cake. It looks pretty real.
Wow, I made a hamburger cake for Amber's 1st birthday, needless to say, it did not look like that! I am thoroughly impressed.
I'm glad you posted the picture with the knife...when I looked at it on facebook, i couldn't wrap my mind around how it was real cake.
