July Fourth 2011

The kids spent the night at my parents house Sunday, and hung out there all day Monday. Jonathan and I went exploring up Kern Canyon. It had been a long time since I'd been up there. When you have kids that get car sick, you avoid that canyon.

After our adventure, we headed to my folks for a BBQ dinner and fireworks. It was hot, but fun.

And now we're getting ready for a big birthday at the end of the week.
