Baseball anyone?

Not really baseball, just a little game of catch. We were supposed to go to Nathan's Crazy Sport class again today, but my car didn't start (what is up with my car?!). Instead, we rode the bike to the park with our bat, glove and ball in tow. He had a good time, despite the heat!

A kitty and a fish

Teresa won a fish at the Kern County Fair last night. Her kitty is VERY curious about it.








She was drinking the water - I hope her fish has a good heart and doesn't die from the scare of a cat drinking out of it's bowl

Hart Park

We took a trip to hart park this morning to get pictures, feed the ducks and have a picnic. It was nice. I posted some of the better shots on my photo blog.

Harry Potter Wand

Okay, so Teresa just finished book 7 and refuses to give up the story, so I have spells flying around my house.

She was saving her money to purchase Hermione's wand, and she planned to use it for Halloween to go with her Mother Nature costume. But I saw this site and we decided to give it a try. It was really easy and it's made of PAPER! Needless to say she is quite satisfied and will be saving her money for something else :)

Crazy Sports

Nathan had his little crazy sports class today. It's just an introduction to the different sports, today was soccer. They talked about the goal and kicked and stopped the ball. Then they played Red light, Green Light. At the very end they played freeze dance - turn the music on, dance, turn it off freeze. It was a little chaotic because there were so many kids (about 15). But Nathan had a great time.

More cake

I made a cake, just for us. Jonathan suggested I make a cake, something I wanted to do, something fun for me. So I did :) I had a good time doing it. And now I have one more cake to add to the collection and the family gets cake. I posted a picture on the cake blog. I'm going to make you go there and see it :)
