Birthday Cake!
I whipped up a cake last night for some friends of mine. We're getting together for lunch to celebrate (well, they are, I have 2 sick kids today)It's nothing fancy, but cute. It's my exaggerated version of a birthday cake. The candles were made from leftover fondant.
It's just white cake with buttercream frosting lightly flavored with lemon. I don't know how it tastes together, but the frosting was yummy!

I love the details of the candles melting. I used fondant for the first time the other night, I'd say it takes some talent to get candles look like that.
